Terms of Use

Last updated: 8 December 2025

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Loop application and related services (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

The App is operated by Michael Joyce ("we", "us", "our"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

1. Who can use Loop

2. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity that takes place under it. If you believe someone has accessed your account without your permission, contact us at support@loopappsupport.com.

3. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not use the App to:

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules or otherwise damage the experience or safety of other users.

4. Safety and behaviour in real life

Loop is designed to help people discover venues and make social connections in the real world, but we cannot control what happens off the App. You are responsible for your own safety when communicating with others or meeting in person.

Always use common sense, meet in public places, and tell someone you trust where you are going. If you feel unsafe or believe another user is behaving inappropriately, you should stop contact and, where appropriate, report them to us and/or local authorities.

5. Content you create

You may be able to create or share content in the App, such as:

You retain ownership of the content you create. By posting or uploading content to the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, and promote the App.

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you share does not infringe anyone else's rights and complies with these Terms and applicable law.

6. Venue information

Loop may display information about venues, including information from third-party sources and user-generated content. We do not control or endorse any venue, and we are not responsible for what happens at any venue you choose to visit.

7. No guarantee of matches or outcomes

We cannot guarantee that you will get matches, make friends, find a partner, or achieve any particular outcome from using the App. Loop provides tools to help you discover people, places, and local social opportunities, but outcomes will vary from user to user.

8. Paid features

If the App offers paid plans, in-app purchases, or subscriptions, additional terms may apply. Where relevant, pricing and purchase terms will be shown in the App or in the relevant app store listing.

9. Termination

You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time, where that option is available in the App or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you seriously or repeatedly violate these Terms, misuse the App, or where we are required to do so by law.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise that the App will always be available, secure, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the App, including meetings or interactions with other users or visits to any venues.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top. If changes are significant, we may also notify you in the App or by email. If you continue using the App after changes take effect, you agree to the updated Terms.
